ON YOUR MARKS...
West Lindsey District Council and TSS Events have created a brand new, exciting
running series event within the West Lindsey District in North of Lincolnshire. The running series consists of 3 new UK athletics measured running events.
This involves:
Saxilby 5km run: Sunday 25th September 2011 - 11am
Gainsborough 5km run: Sunday 23rd October 2011 - 10am
Market Rasen Remembrance Sunday 10km run (multi-terrain):
Sunday 13th November 2011 - 12:30pm
These will include junior races at each event.
Entries will close:
Saxilby 5km run - 23rd September Online
Gainsborough 5km run - 21st of October Online
Market Rasen 10km run - 11th November online
Entry can be made on the day of the race at Race HQ. Anyone that enters From Thursday 22nd September for Saxilby, 20th October for Gainsborough and 10th of November for Market Rasen will also have to pick there race packs up from race HQ.
Volunteers are also Needed for all 3 races and please contact chris.farrell@west-lindsey.gov.uk
People can participate in all three events or select just the one event. Team entries from athletics clubs, companies and groups will be available.
For people that enter the three main races there will be an overall male/female and team trophy winners for the run series. This will be calculated through finishing positions of the three races. Cash prizes for each race including trophies for open and age categories.
Medals and goody bags for all competitors. People that enter and complete all three races will receive a commemorative t-shirt for the 1st year of the West Lindsey run series.
People can participate in all three events or select just the one event. Team entries from athletics clubs, companies and groups will be available.
Entry fees are £8 per race (non UKA affiliated) £6 (UKA affiliated)
Or all three races for £20 (non UKA affiliated) £18 (UKA affiliated)
You don't have to be a serious runner. You can walk, jog or run.
